Ireland Itinerary

Day 1, Dublin

Filled with excitement and anticipation, I arrived in Dublin, Ireland. It was only an hour and a half flight from Brussels to Dublin! I departed from the Ryanair plane, went through security, and got the cheapest shuttle to Dublin. My feet descended from the bus steps and started to wander around the city. I was EXTREMELY lost. I visited Temple Bar, Trinity College Library, Guinness Factory, and just took in all of the beautiful Irish surroundings.

Day 2, Ring of Kerry

My alarm rang at 5:30AM, the buzzing noise resonated within my ears. Not hesitant at all to wake up, I packed my bags quickly and took a taxi to the Dublin Train Station. I was on my way to Killarney National Park, one of Ireland’s most historical landmark. That day I took a tour of the Ring of Kerry. Never in my life have I seen such beautiful scenery. My sleep deprivation did not stop me from enjoying the magnificent views.

Day 3, Dingle

I FINALLY GOT SLEEP! 11 hours to be exact at a Bed and Breakfast in the heart of Killarney. I woke up, got dressed, and headed downstairs to eat Irish breakfast. Sleep and a full stomach, I was ready to start the day. I walked my way to the bus station, and got on the bus for the Dingle tour. This was my favorite day out of the trip. The pictures below tell it all!

Day 4, Galway

I packed my bags once again, and made my way to the bus station! I arrived in Galway a few hours later, found the hostel, and immediately started to explore. Galway is one of the most intricate, unique, and historical towns. Irish people are also the most friendly individuals that I have ever met. For example, I was walking along the water, I accidentally walked into the bike path and ran over an Old Man on a bike. My heart was beating so fast, but he turned around immediately, smiled, and told me to have a nice day. I was shocked. Then I made my way to an Irish Bar and listened to Irish music. I could not stop smiling.

Day 5, Cliffs of Moher

This day is by far my favorite out of the trip. You cannot depict the beauty of the Cliffs in photographs. I stood on a 700ft cliff, 3 inches away from the edge! The cliffs make you feel miniscule.

Day 6, Belgium

The sound of Irish music resonated my ears, as I hesitantly packed my bags for home. I was ready to go back home to Leuven, Belgium. Ireland was an incredible experience and will definitely be back again!
